A classic, quietly authoritative Rioja Reserva that prioritises balance, purity, and longevity over excess. Valenciso is known for a restrained, traditional approach, and this wine reflects that philosophy with clarity and precision.

The nose is refined and savoury, opening with red cherry and plum, followed by cedar, dried herbs, tobacco, and subtle spice. Oak is present but well judged, supporting the fruit rather than dominating it. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied, fresh and composed, with fine tannins, bright acidity, and a long, dry finish that carries notes of red fruit, earth, and gentle savoury complexity.

This is a Rioja built for the table and for time in the cellar — elegant rather than powerful, and shaped by structure rather than sweetness. It drinks well now with food, but has the balance and integrity to evolve gracefully over the coming decade.
