Cellar Credits are how we thank the people who keep coming back. Every dollar you spend at Winetrust earns you one credit. They sit on your account, they don’t expire, and when you’re ready, they come off the price of your next case.
No games, no tiers, no gold-status theatre. You buy wine, you earn credits, credits buy wine.
How you earn them.
1 credit for every $1 you spend. Credits are added to your account when your order ships. Balances update once a day, each morning — so an order that ships this afternoon shows its credits the next morning, not the next minute. You’ll need an account for credits to land in — and if you checked out as a guest, creating an account with the same email within 30 days collects them retrospectively. No forms, no claim codes: they just appear.
40 credits for a photo review. If you’ve bought a wine from us and your review of it includes a photo — the bottle on your table, not a stock shot — you’ll earn a one-off 40-credit thank-you when our team approves the review. One per wine. Words alone are always welcome too; they publish instantly after an automated check, and that’s their own reward.
What they’re worth.
40 credits = $1 off. Straightforwardly: shop $400 of wine, and you’ve earned $10 toward the next order. Credits never convert to cash and never expire.
How to use them.
You don’t have to do anything. Once your balance passes 200 credits, the morning update converts them into store credit on your account — always in whole dollars, never less than $5 at a time. At checkout, your store credit is right there; use it toward any order except gift cards, or save it for a bigger one. Whatever doesn’t convert yet keeps counting toward the next $5.
The fine print (short, because there isn’t much).
- Credits are earned on the amount you actually paid, after any credits applied. Refunded or cancelled orders return their credits to the house. Gift card purchases don’t earn credits — the person who spends the gift card earns them instead.
- Credits and conversions land in the once-a-day morning update (Melbourne time). If something you’re expecting isn’t there yet, it will be tomorrow morning.
- Photo-review credits require a verified purchase of that wine and team approval of the review.
- Credits belong to your account and can’t be transferred or converted to cash.
- We reserve the right to correct balances in cases of error or misuse. That’s it.
