Precision-grown in Western Australia’s Great Southern, the 2025 Swinney Riesling is cut from cool-climate fruit with high natural acidity and clean phenolic structure. This is a dry, linear style built on tension rather than sweetness.
The nose opens with lime zest, lemon pith and green apple, followed by white florals and a faint mineral edge. On the palate, it is tight and focused: citrus drive up front, a fine chalky texture through the mid-palate, and a long, saline finish that snaps shut cleanly. No residual sugar to soften it — just clarity and structure.
Acidity is the backbone here. It keeps the wine energetic and gives it ageing capacity. Expect the primary citrus profile to evolve toward preserved lemon and toast over time.
