A composed, quietly confident Spanish red that favours depth and structure over overt fruit. This is a thoughtful blend, marrying the freshness and lift of Mencía with the natural intensity and colour of Alicante Bouschet.

The aroma is restrained and layered: dark cherry, blackcurrant, dried Mediterranean herbs and a subtle iron-like minerality, with oak used sparingly and integrated rather than showy. On the palate, the wine is medium to full bodied, savoury and controlled, with dark fruit framed by fine-grained tannins and a long, dry finish that carries a mineral, slightly earthy edge.

Alicante Bouschet provides weight and seriousness, while Mencía keeps the wine precise and energetic. The balance is deliberate, leaning toward elegance rather than power, and clearly shaped with food in mind.
