Chambers Old Vine Muscadelle NV is a classic expression of Topaque, offering layers of caramel, toffee, dried fruit, and warm spice. Aged in old oak barrels using a solera system, this non-vintage blend showcases extraordinary depth and complexity balanced by a silky, lingering finish.
Lusciously sweet but beautifully balanced, it’s the perfect after-dinner sipper — or pair it with sticky date pudding, blue cheese, or just a quiet moment. A must-try for fans of traditional Australian fortifieds.
Every wine is scored out of 100 under the Winetrust Scoring System: Flavour 50 (nose 15, palate 25, finish 10), Structure 25, Balance & Harmony 15, Presentation 10. Totals are computed, never hand-entered.
Two bottles minimum, tasted on separate occasions by a named reviewer, unblind — and disclosed. Gifted samples are declared. Price never touches the score — value is rated separately. Nothing below 87 is listed, and key wines are re-tasted at twelve months with their score history preserved.
