Swinney’s Mourvèdre Rosé 2024 is a vibrant take on a typically bold grape, delivering bright watermelon, strawberry, and pink grapefruit aromas. The palate is crisp and dry, with flavours of crushed red berries, tangy citrus peel, and a touch of fresh herbs. Light-bodied with zesty acidity and a clean mineral finish, it’s refreshing yet layered. Ideal for summer sipping on its own, or paired with seafood salads, grilled prawns, or light Middle Eastern mezze. A lovely balance of structure and brightness—both summery and refined.
Every wine is scored out of 100 under the Winetrust Scoring System: Flavour 50 (nose 15, palate 25, finish 10), Structure 25, Balance & Harmony 15, Presentation 10. Totals are computed, never hand-entered.
Two bottles minimum, tasted on separate occasions by a named reviewer, unblind — and disclosed. Gifted samples are declared. Price never touches the score — value is rated separately. Nothing below 87 is listed, and key wines are re-tasted at twelve months with their score history preserved.
