Frankland Estate’s Isolation Ridge Syrah 2023 comes from Western Australia’s cool-climate Frankland River, and it’s a textbook example of refined, juicy Shiraz with edge. Expect vibrant aromas of blue plum, black olive, and cracked pepper, underlined by cedar and forest-floor nuances. The palate is medium-bodied, with bright acidity driving precise blue and black fruit, smoked meat, and spicy clove. Tannins are sleek and supportive, creating a smooth, lingering finish. Best enjoyed alongside smoked sausages, grilled eggplant, or hard cheese. It’s an elegant yet rustic Syrah—pure, terroir-driven, and balanced.
