An intensely rich and decadent PX showcasing the full power of sun-dried Pedro Ximénez grapes. The nose is saturated with aromas of raisin, fig syrup, toffee, dark molasses and roasted nuts, with a hint of espresso and sweet spice.

The palate is extraordinarily dense and velvety — layers of date paste, caramel, chocolate and dried fruit unfold with syrupy concentration. Despite the weight and sweetness, there is a gentle underlying acidity that adds just enough lift to keep the wine from feeling static.

The finish is long, warming and deeply sweet, echoing treacle, cocoa and spiced dried fruit. A classic, indulgent PX best served slightly chilled with chocolate desserts, blue cheese or simply as a dessert in its own right.
